Talented things being done by talented people

Facing the completion of two years, Marian band is the culmination of the efforts of 11 incredibly talented and passionate people. One of the lead singers Christy of 3rd BA Economics was always interested in music; she always knew that music would be a part of her life. She is something of a prodigy, having never learned music she was always naturally good at it. Marian band began their career from performing programs organized by Jesus Youth. In the beginning they lacked facilities, female members and funding. But now they are being recognized not in the college but outside it. With the support of Father Robin, they were successfully able to organize their first concert in Ellapara Church and they've been growing momentously ever since. Being known as the official band of a college certainly puts a lot of pressure on them, but they are still able to rise above it all and excel at what they do. Their best concert that they have ever performed by far was their performance in Devagiri College, Kozhikode. A purely instrument performance, the band was officially invited by the college to perform at their college fest. Now known as the 'The Melodica Marianites', their aim is not just fame but to let people enjoy their music as an art in the truest sense of the word.
